Counselor in Training
​Description: Counselors in Training are former campers that are not quite ready to be on staff, but want to learn what it takes to do the job. CITs will be assigned to an Explorer/Discover camper group to assist with daily programming activities as well as perform other support staff duties.

Requirements: ​Rising high school senior or graduate. As a CIT, you should possess leadership qualities, the ability to use sound judgment and be able to relate to your peers and supervisors in a work setting. It is important that you have enthusiasm, maturity, and communication skills. Interest in the development of children.

Other Volunteer Opportunities
Description: ​Volunteers fill many roles at Camp Grier including Health Care/First Aid Assistant, Ministry Leader, Camp Store Host, Photographer, and Maintenance Assistant.
Requirements: Volunteers are typically over 21 years of age. Current certification in first aid and CPR is desirable. Valid and current driving license. Ability to work on a team, relate and work well with others. Self starter and organizer. Ability to accept guidance, direction and supervision. Desire to work with the camp's target population.
