We offer after school riding lessons, combining arena skills practice and trail rides around Camp Grier’s beautiful property nestled in the Pisgah National Forest in Old Fort. Lessons are available weekly Monday-Thursday and can be private or group style. All tack, horses, instruction, and gear are provided.

Onsite at Camp Grier
Our facility has a large covered arena, with both interior jump courses and outdoor field jumps. In addition, the Equestrian Center has several trail heads which lead to miles of private trails directly from the barn and connect into the surrounding Pisgah National Forest 20+ more multi-use trail miles at your disposal.



Primitive Camping


Overnight with your Horse
Camp Grier is offering overnight primitive camping for you and your horses to enjoy multiuse trails on our private trails which connect to the new Gateway Trail System of the Grandfather Mountain District of the Pisgah National Forest.
