REGISTRATION HAS BEGUN!
2010 SUMMER CAMP REGISTRATION
FORMS ARE NOW ONLINE!

Our 2010 Summer Camp schedule has now been posted online. and the registration form is on our website!  On the Home Page, place your cursor over the "Summer Program" tab, and then click on the "Forms" tab in the drop-down menu.  All the paperwork you need to fill out for camp can be downloaded from our website.  To register, and reserve your  place at camp, simply print off the registration form, fill it out and mail it to us along with your $50 registration fee.

OOPS!  We regret that we do have several mistakes in this year's  printed brochure and hope that it does not cause any undue confusion.   The date for the You & Me Camp is incorrectly listed as July 30 - July 2.  The correct dates are June 30 - July 2.  Secondly, the date for the Two-Week Pioneer Adventure Camp is incorrectly listed as July 12 - July 24.  The correct date should be July 11 - July 23.  Lastly, the Senior High Wilderness Camp is listed incorrectly as happening July 19 - July 24 (SH5).  The correct dates are JULY 25 - JULY 30 (SH6), which is the sixth week of camp, not the fifth.  Unfortunately, even though we spend hours each year proofreading the brochure and poster, we always seem to miss some things!  We apologize for any problems this may cause.

Pool Fund News
Our pool has cooled us well and wet us faithfully for the last 40+ years, but the time has come to retire it and build a new one!  For this we need your help and support!  We invite you to DIVE INTO GIVING with your tax-deductible donations so that we may build a new pool at Camp Grier! 

Don't forget that many companies have programs that match your gift-giving.  Please check with your employer about matching funds.  By doing so, you may be able to double your gift!

The Place to Be!
Surrounded by the beautiful foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains of Western North Carolina, and bordering the Pisgah National Forest, Camp Grier boasts 643 acres of rustic splendor.  We are a camping and retreat center that is ideal for meetings, conferences, and retreats. During the summer, we serve as a Christian camp open to children of all denominations. All ages enjoy canoeing and the rope bridge on our five-acre lake.  There is also a natural rock slide into a cool-water mountain creek, miles of hiking trails, an outdoor pool, horseshoe pits, basketball, volleyball, and picnic/cookout areas.  Accommodations include rustic lodges, cabins, both indoor and outdoor chapels, a dining hall and more.
